Charlie is a third year graduate student pursuing his Master’s degree in counseling psychology with over 2 years of intensive study and clinical experience. Charlie has developed a strong foundation of understanding and supporting the growth of children and adolescents through his current clinical work, and undergraduate psychology major and education minor. His diverse experiences include roles as a camp counselor, teacher, and climbing instructor, each contributing to his passion for helping young people thrive.
Charlie is actively developing his counseling approach and has found particular interest in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and experiential and expressive interventions. Charlie is also particularly drawn to working with young clients through experiential and play therapies, both approaches utilize play, adventure, and therapeutic gaming to help children express their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a natural and comfortable way. Charlie is especially passionate about focusing on supporting children and adults experiencing ADHD, aiming to combine nature, walk and talks, and adventure into therapeutic practices to bring about engaging and effective treatment. Charlie has openings for affordable private paying rates for new clients at this time. Email the practice to inquire further about rates and availability.
